Yes. Camels are led by experienced handlers at walking pace, so no experience is needed. Children aged 3+ ride with a parent or handler nearby.
The mounting and dismounting is the wobbliest part — your handler guides you through it. Once up, the ride is a gentle sway. Wear comfortable trousers for the best experience.
Yes. We work only with Ababda families who depend on their animals’ health and treat them accordingly. Camels are rested, fed and rotated.
Around 45 minutes to an hour on the camel, plus the tea stop and photos — a relaxed pace throughout.
Camels are ridden individually, but you’ll travel side by side — it’s a favourite for couples and honeymooners at sunset.
