Overview

Made for couples, friends and parent-and-child pairs, the private buggy safari gives two people their own side-by-side buggy and an experienced guide to lead the way. You drive through winding sandy valleys and over rocky tracks into the mountains behind Marsa Alam, far from the main roads, then stop at a high point where the desert rolls all the way down to the Red Sea.

The second leg is the fun part: a faster run back across the open desert flats to base, where Bedouin tea and water are waiting. The buggy has a roll cage and proper safety belts and rides more steadily than a quad, so you get the speed with a lot more stability. Choose a morning departure or the afternoon session for golden light on the sand.

Highlights

  • A private 2-seat buggy for you and one companion
  • Drive sandy valleys, canyons and rocky desert tracks
  • Panorama stop where the desert meets the Red Sea
  • A faster second run across the open desert flats
  • Roll cage, safety belts, helmets and a test drive first

Great experience!! I highly recommend it. We took both tours; the first one in group and the second time we took a private one. Both experiences were truly amazing, but I highly recommend the private tour... you can drive at your own pace and you can avoid the amount of sand that it came when you go in the group tour. The guides were very nice and amazing photographers!! I can't wait to go back again.
