Overview

The family buggy safari keeps everyone together. Instead of separate quads, one adult takes the wheel of a four-seat off-road buggy and the rest of the family rides alongside and behind, sharing every climb, dip and view. Your guide leads the way through dry riverbeds and canyons, across open plains and up to sandy ridges deep in the Eastern Desert outside Marsa Alam.

The buggies have a sturdy roll cage and 4-point seat belts on every seat, and they ride more steadily than a quad, which is why families with children and anyone who wants a calmer ride often prefer them. Along the way you stop at a Bedouin camp for tea and a rest, then drive up to a high desert viewpoint for photos before heading back. Choose a morning session or time it for sunset.

  • Roll cage and 4-point seat belts on every seat
  • Guided drive through wadis, canyons, open plains and dunes
  • Bedouin tea stop and a panoramic desert photo stop
  • Morning or sunset sessions, with hotel pickup
